Square Bale Guides
This is a set of tubular guides mounted on the elevator to keep the square bales in line when
transferring from inclined to horizontal elevators

MB4 Basic Drive
Heavy duty 5 ft. drive unit including a 12” end section. It is a basic drive and idlor that allows
you to add sections in between
Features include:
• all shafts are 1” in diameter on roller bearings;
• use No.40 roller chain drive;
• motor mount and No. 55 chain included
• end section has threaded chain tightener
Transfer Drive:
A Transfer Drive should be used in mow systems and conveyors over 80’ in length. Mount the
transfer
drive unit in the centre of conveyors which splits the long chain into two smaller lengths
and that will
result in longer chain life. Only one power source is required as the fully enclosed
chain drive transmit
power from one section to another. It can also be used to connect end transfer
power from a
horizontal to incline elevator ay any angle through tp 45º.

Center Sections
Center sections will fit any Forage King Hay Elevator System and are available in 2, 4, 8, and 10’ lengths
complete with No.55 conveyor chain.
MB4G Gearbox Basic Drive
Heavy duty 5 ft. drive unit including a 12” end section with a threaded chain tightener. The MB4G
Gearbox features reduction gearbox eliminating pulleys, belt and roller chain. All shafts are 1” in
diameter in roller bearings. No 55 chain included.
Moveable Diverter
Bales can be discharged anywhere on a mow system. Two holes on the Diverter (with 12” spacing)
allows for more accurate paddle positioning when dropping big bales between trusses of your barn.
The Diverter allows you to reverse with a reversible motor.
Underslung Motor Mount
Recommended on horizontal elevators with a motor over ¾ HP. This position places the motor
directly underneath to balance the system
Slide Chain Lifter
The Slide Chain Lifter is designed to carry the return chain. Place as required
90º Turn
This enables bales to make a 90º turn from one elevator to another. Diverter section
must be used to attach this to the system. Makes filling a large barn a whole lot easier.
Mow Hangers
Position every 16 to 20’ to suspend system from the rafters
Bale chute
Folding chute attached to the intake elevator for easier unloading and placing of the bales
on the elevator.
Bale Arranger
To be used when unloading horizontal with transport elevator.
Diverter Section
A special 4’ section with spring tensioned diverter arms for either-side unloading. They can be
placed at regular intervals throughout the system. Raised trough lifts bales off the hooks for
easier discharging. It is possible to use ropes to operate the diverter arms from ground level
(ropes are not included). One slide chain lifter is included.
